A Full-service SkillBridge Provider

S2IC is the first full-service SkillBridge Provider to offer industry fully-facilitated direct enrollment into the DoD SkillBridge database.

Fully facilitated enrollment into the DoD SkillBridge Database – S2IC is your agent to enroll your organization and make you an Authorized SkillBridge Host Organization.  Once enrolled, S2IC acts like an extension of your HR department, managing and maintaining your organization’s SkillBridge program, saving your employee’s time and resources.

Phase One

Build & Enroll

A simple intake with S2IC gets the ball rolling with the DoD for your organization’s enrollment. We gather all the essential information needed for your Skillbridge enrollment, as well as generate the necessary training plan required by DoD.

Phase Two

Manage and Maintain

After your organization has been approved by DoD and is active in the SkillBridge database, S2IC actively manages your program – responding to all incoming inquiries from servicemembers and conducting initial screenings and interviews. If a candidate is approved by a partner, then we generate all the documentation the servicemember needs to submit with their application packet, supporting them throughout their application process.

Additionally, S2IC keeps our partner’s CMS active and reflective of their current needs and goals, as well as handling all annual renewal and performance reporting requirements to the DoD.

How Does the Process Work?

Step 1

Once active in the DoD SkillBridge database, servicemembers see the internships offered by Host Organizations, with a point-of-contact email to inquire for more information.  For our partners, all these email inquiries come to S2IC, saving your employees time and resources.

Step 2

Servicemembers are then directed through S2IC’s initial intake process – including a full questionnaire and resume review. Once received, S2IC schedules a phone interview. If the candidate is deemed a potential fit, S2IC generates a Candidate Snapshot with all relevant candidate information and why we think they could be a fit for our Partner.  If desired, the Partner can themselves schedule a second interview with the candidate.

Step 3

If a candidate is approved by a partner, then S2IC generates all the documentation the servicemember needs to submit with their application packet, supporting them throughout their application process.  If the candidate is declined by the partner, S2IC still re-engages with them, and helps the candidate secure a different SkillBridge opportunity.

Only Pay Upon Placement

Throughout the Manage & Maintain process, the partner is only invoiced by S2IC when a successful match is made and a SkillBridge candidate arrives for their internship and onboarding.

Increased Access

Being directly enrolled means that neither servicemembers nor partner organizations are constrained to cohort timelines – the only timelines that matter are the servicemember’s and the Host’s.

Content Management System

Direct enrollment gives S2IC access to a full Content Management System for a partner’s SkillBridge program. With a simple email to S2IC, we can add or remove opportunities, locations where the opportunities are offered, or toggle them on or off as needed. Based on each partner’s needs, we also build out the descriptions using key search terms to capture more servicemembers who are searching.

DoD SkillBridge Logo

As a SkillBridge Authorized Host, organizations can display the DoD SkillBridge logo on any of their digital channels as well as physical displays, such as booths at conferences.
